The woven curly layer is made out of real goat hair and merino fibres , its approx 45 x30 cm. 
 
Taking Care of your layer - Wash your layer only on the dirt spot in cold water with a very mild wool soap. Air dry your rug out of direct sunlight. Don't use a vacuum & don't pull hard or the strands will get caught. This layer is hand felted.
